The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) is one of the seven major Research Councils of UK having their research programs in India. Overseas co-investigators from almost anywhere in the world can be included on ESRC research applications.

Aim of the Fellowship^
This is a Postdoctoral fellowship aiming to support outstanding individuals who have recently completed their PhDs in statistics, biostatistics or a related discipline and who are working in \u2013 or seeking to move into \u2013 statistically based, health-related research. The award also provides the opportunity to enhance the research training through placement in an overseas research centre, a second UK research centre or in UK industry. Value of Fellowship^
The fellowship provides up to four years of support for the development and investigation of innovative statistical methods and their application in clinical research. Who can apply? Who can apply?^
Any individuals of any Nationality including India, who has done a PhD in statistics, biostatistics or a related discipline and have less than five years of post-doctoral experience or to those who expect to have received such a doctorate by the time they intend to take up the award.
