Hello everyone,

I am Devendra Singh, an alum of GBPAU&T, currently working as Assistant Professor at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut.

I just joined the association today in  the hope of making an effort to save one of the Pantanagar alum's life, who is struggling with serious liver condition and needs immediate transplant in Apollo hospital. Dr. Nepal Singh, who did his MSc and Phd at GBPUA&T and served as Assistant Professor in the college of Food Sciences at the same place, came to the U.S. for a short while. He returned back to India in 2006 and joined the private food industry. Since 2007, he has been dealing with liver problems. All the family savings have been used up and the family is in huge financial crisis. To save Dr. Nepal Singh's life, the family is in need of 35-40 lakh rupees, which is a huge amount. He needs immediate liver transplant, as he has been admitted in Metro hospital for the second time due to his unconsciousness.

The relatives are coming forward to do whatever they can do, but still the money is not up to what is required. I, therefore, request the members of Worldwide Pantnagar Alumni Association to come forward to help Dr. Nepal Singh's family.
