Pantnagar life is great as it offers so much to us ...with fun and frolic to 8-5 lectures ... to hourlies ....too much rules but breaking those rules is also fun ......how can one forget hostel life of pantnagar... the unique senior jounior releationship.... the badi market... the chhoti... the central canteen all seems to engross our memory lanes ...lets ignite this feeling by gracing the event of alumni meet starting on 18th april...
we as your jounior request you to participate in this alumni meet as we want this bond of togtherness to be strengthened to the realms of eternity...

ABOUT PAAS
PAAS (Pantnagar Agriculture Alumni Society) is a alumni society working in the premises of Pantnagar whose motive is to create a platform for linking the alumni with the students studying at Pantnagar. So that it can bring about sustainable, overall and mutual development of students and agriculture sector as a whole. Agriculture sector is in the process of transformation and it is trying to get out from the shackles. The stage is perfect set when world is facing food security problem India can assume the leadership position in food industry, provided we take common endeavors in proper direction with a vision. PAAS is working keenly to create this common vision. we believe since we are the product of a foremost agriculture university if we decide to join hands nothing can apprehend us in means of achieving it and we should make our selves ready to identify our roles and be a part of this change.
Our objectives:-
* To link current students with alumnis so that they can get required guidance from them and understand the agriculture sector.
* To undertake developmental activities for students and alumnus.
* To create it as a centre for knowledge and resource sharing
* To create a common vision for transforming agriculture
* To strengthen brand Pantnagar.
SAMVARDHANAM:-
Like every year we are going to organize alumni meet but this year it is going to be much different. We are looking forward to organize it in the true sense and spirit. For this we have designed it in such a fashion that you can find and recreate the magic of your old days which you have spent at premises of Pantnagar. For this we would be organizing few events which would include a seminar on revitalizing Indian agriculture and an informal session which will involve our experiences sharing of life at Pantnagar. We would also look forward to build strategies to rejuvenate brand Pantnagar.
The purpose of alumni meet will be to build rapport between alumnus and students at Pantnagar. We expect your presence and grace at this occasion.
SAMVARDHANAM is a part of great agrifest this time it is entitled as AHWAANAM.
It includes following events;-

It was most memorabale date of my life in pantnagar life becoz by just one or two mail from us number of alumini were in the pant nagar to attend the alumini meet. it was very interesting to see how much passout seniors still love us just due to our identity of pant nagarians. i congraulate to all for successfull programme on behalf of all agriculture students.
i thanks to all my juiors of 1,2,3 year students who has helped us to convert this dream in to reality. but..........................
success of event does mean the success of the motive so my y frends dont put your self relax and be prepared for the next year to achieve some new targets
at last i thanks to all our seniors who has helped us to laid the first brick of the foundation of the placement cell of our agriculture college.

the day 18 april 2009 was now will be remembered as a day of reincarnation, rejuvenation of our pantnagar agriculture alumni society in fact it was now became a one of memorable day of my stay in pantnagar.it was the first time when the student took such a huge initiative to call upon our alumni in such a great number. to meet with our alumni is just something like to meet with our wellwishers to whom we know with the distance but with the help of this meet we got the chance to know our seniors with more intimacy and the way our alumni come forward to strengthen our alumni base by giving their valuable suggestion, by giving monetary help and also giving valuable ideas to strengthen brand pantnagar was just inimitable.there is lot more to say but obligations are there but to know the detail of ALUMNI MEET 09 All can visit our paas website : www.paaspantnagar.org.in. this website will provide all updates related to PAAS pantnagar, college of agriculture.i request are all agriculture alumni to visit the website and make themselves register so that we can generate a huge database of our alumni.
at last i thank all our alumni who help us in making this meet succesful . and also to all my programme coordinators and organisers without them this programme have no result.
